WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THE AREA OR NEIGHBORHOOD?
The things I love about Edina are that it is a well established community with good access to the rest of the Twin Cities, including Mall of American and Southdale area for shopping and the airport for travel.
THE FAVORITE RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS AROUND THIS HOME ARE:
We found that the SW metro area is loaded with a fine assortment of good restaurants of many types. Location is such that a great meal can be had within only a few miles.

Grocery shopping opportunities include Lunds, Jerry’s and to the west, Cub and Rainbow.
KEY POINTS ABOUT THE PROPERTY THAT YOU WERE DRAWN TO?
We bought the property with the intent of using it for several summers when we returned to MN from AZ to escape the heat. Our plan was to hold and use it for about 3-4 years, then sell, but the housing market impacted our plans. Therefore the current use as a rental. Same renter for 4 years.
WHY PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE TO THIS AREA; WHY WE WERE ATTRACTED?
The location is definitely suburban, yet is a quick drive to downtown as well as the south and west suburbs. Central while being in a residential part of Edina.
WHAT DID YOU DO FOR INTERESTS AND HOBBIES NEAR TO THE PROPERTY?
We biked and walked. Several parks within a short walk or ride. Also enjoyed the outdoor pool with our grandkids many times.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF?
From the viewpoint of a home to live in, the complex is well run and offers convenience to the rest of the twin cities while also offering indoor/outdoor pools, tennis, exercise rooms “at home”.
As an investment, with the intent of renting, the same arguments hold, except they apply to how the renter would benefit.
